Have you wanted to connect Word2013 or other Office 2013 Applications with other OnlineServices such as OneDrive, LinkedIn, Twitter, Flickr etc.? The procedure is very simple and once we have done it we can quickly add images, video or files to an OfficeFile. If we add a StorageService, we will be able to store our files automatically into that service.
In order for this to be accomplished, we must sign into Office with our MicrosoftAccount or for others with their Office 365 Account. Once we sign in with our Microsoft Account all our Office settings will be synced.
It does not matter which application we have open in order to Connect a Service. Once we connect a Service in Microsoft Word13 for example, that Service will be available in all the other applications also. In order to Connect a Service just follow the steps below.
No matter what application we have opened, all we have to do is to select the File tab in order to move into Backstage View, and then from the menu at the left we select the category Account as shown below. Once the Account category is selected at the middle of our screen under the area named ConnectedServices we can see all the services that are available and which are the following:
At the right of the ConnectedServices, we can either Manage, Add or Remove, just by clicking on the appropriate command in order to do one of the ones mentioned.
In the image below we can see the all the Connected Services in Word’s 13 Backstage View.
In the image below we can see the all the Connected Services in PowerPoint’s 13 Backstage View.
In the image below we can see the all the Connected Services in Excel’s 13 Backstage View.
In the image below we can see the all the Connected Services in Outlook’s 13 Backstage View.
At the bottom of the ConnectedServices area is located the Add A Service button, which once we select it, a drop down menu appears with all the available services to connect. This drop down menu is separated in three different areas depending on what we want to upload. These areas are the following:
Images & Videos: Once selected we can add pictures and videos from FacebookForOffice or Flickr.
Storage: Once selected we can store our documents in the cloud (Office365SharePoint, OneDrive) and have access to them from almost everywhere.
Sharing: We can share our documents with friends and colleagues.
In the image below I selected the command Add A Service, and from the menu that appeared I selected Images & Videos and all that is left is to select from the right where I want to add pictures and videos from.
In the image below I selected the command Add A Service, and from the menu that appeared I selected Storage and all that is left is to select where I want to store my document.

Whatever Service we choose to Connect with, a dialog box will appears, where we have to login in with our credentials in order to Connect with the particular Service as shown in the images below.
