Definition of Font: A font is a set of printable or displayable text character s in a specific style and size. The type design for a set of fonts is the typeface and variations of this design form the typeface family.

Dubai Font Family in Microsoft Office 365

Office has distributed a new Font named Dubai, which has been developed in collaboration with the Council of Dubai. This new Dubai Font is available in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook. In order to use the new Dubai Font among with all the other Fonts that we have installed we must follow the steps described below.

All we must do is to select the text that we want to format with the Dubai Font, and then from the Home tab and from the area of the ribbon named Font, we select the drop-down menu at the right of where it displays the current Font, as shown in the image below. Depending on the Fonts that we have installed, the screenshot might vary. One way, or the other, we scroll down on the drop menu, where in the image below we can see the Dubai Font, and immediately our Text has been formatted into Dubai.

In the image below the text is selected and from the Font drop-down menu I have selected the Dubai Light Font, and immediately our text is formatted into Dubai Light.

In the image below the text is selected and from the Font drop-down menu I have selected the Dubai Medium Font, and immediately our text is formatted into Dubai Medium.

In the image below, I have an Excel Workbook opened and from the Font drop-down menu, we can see the Dubai, the Dubai Light and the Dubai Medium Font in order to select and Format our Text in the current Cell.

In the image below, I have a PowerPoint Slide and from the Font drop-down menu, we can see the Dubai, the Dubai Light and the Dubai Medium Font in order to select and Format our Text in the current Placeholder.

In the image below, I am composing a New E-Mail Message, and from the Font drop-down menu, we can see the Dubai, the Dubai Light and the Dubai Medium Font in order to select and Format our Text.
