As mentioned in my previous post Create New Calendar Groups in Outlook 365 we are able to create our own Calendar Groups in Outlook. If we are looking at the same set of Calendars, repeatedly, we can save time by making them into a Calendar Group. In this post I will describe how to Create and Save A New Calendar Group in Outlook. All you need to do is to continue reading the post below.
Once we are transferred to our Calendar in Outlook 365, the Home tab is activated as shown in the image below. Then we must locate the Manage Calendars area of the ribbon to proceed, as we notice below.
In the Manage Calendars area of the ribbon, we select the command Calendar Groups where the drop-down menu appears as shown below, where we select the Save As New Calendar Group. By selecting this command, we save the currently displayed calendars as a new calendar group in the Folder pane.
In my example below, I have displayed two different Birthday Calendars. One is from my personal account, and the other one is from a group.
Once we select the Save As New Calendar Group command, the Create New Calendar Group dialog as shown below. All we need to do is to Type A Name For The New Calendar Group. Once we have finished, we press the Ok button, in order for the New Calendar Group to be created.
That is it. The New Calendar Group is created. At the bottom left corner of our Calendar Window, where the Folder Pane is located we notice the Name of the Calendar Group that we created. In order for the Group to be displayed or not, all we need to do is to activate or deactivate the check box at the left of the Calendars Group Name.
Keep in mind that any Calendar in the Navigation Pane can be viewed together with any group even if it is not a member of that Group. We can display or hide any Calendar by activating or deactivating the check box in the Navigation Pane or by clicking the Close button on the Calendars tab. By not displaying a Calendar, doesn’t mean that it is also removed.
