Activate LinkedIn Features in Office 365 Applications

A new feature that is available now in Microsoft Office 365 is the LinkedIn Feature. Once we activate this Feature we can see information from LinkedIn public profiles in Microsoft Applications and Services. We can also be able to send invitations to connect on LinkedIn directly through Microsoft Applications. We can also write our Resume, with the help of LinkedIn. In this post I will describe only How To Activate The LinkedIn Features in Microsoft Office 365 Applications.

Activate LinkedIn Features in Office 365

In order for the Word Options dialog box to appear, we must select the File tab to move to Backstage View, and once in Backstage View from the left of the drop-down menu we select the category Options. Then the Word Options dialog box appears, where the General Category from the left is activated. Then in the middle of the dialog box, we must locate the area named LinkedIn Features.

In this area we are notified that: Use LinkedIn Features in Office to Stay Connected With Your Professional Network and Keep Up To Date In Your Industry

In order for us to use or not to use these features we just have to activate or deactivate the check box at the left of the command:

  • Show LinkedIn Features In My Office Applications

If we want to learn more about these LinkedIn Features we just select the link:

Whatever we decide to do, we must press the Ok button at the bottom right corner of the Word Options dialog box.

LinkedIn Features in Microsoft Word

In order for the Excel Options dialog box to appear, we must select the File tab to move to Backstage View, and once in Backstage View from the left of the drop-down menu we select the category Options. Then the Excel Options dialog box appears, where the General Category from the left is activated. Then in the middle of the dialog box, we must locate the area named LinkedIn Features.

Then the PowerPoint Options dialog box appears, where the General Category from the left is activated. Then in the middle of the dialog box, we must locate the area named LinkedIn Features.

LinkedIn Features in Microsoft Outlook 365

If we activate the LinkedIn Features command in one application, the Features will be available through all the other Applications.
