How To Maximize The Printing Options in an Excel Spreadsheet?

Υπάρχουν πολλές φορές που κοιτάμε ένα Φύλλο Εργασίας (Spreadsheet) του Excel σε μία Οθόνη (Monitor) και όλα φαίνονται τέλεια. Όταν όμως θελήσουμε να το Εκτυπώσουμε (Print), εάν δεν είμαστε προσεκτικοί θα καταλήξουμε να έχουμε ξοδέψει αρκετό Χαρτί (Paper) και δεν θα έχουμε ιδέα το τι έχουμε Εκτυπώσει (Printed). Δεδομένα (Data) εδώ, Στήλες (Columns) εκεί, Γραμμές (Rows) παντού. Ότι έχουμε δώσει την εντολή για Εκτύπωση (Print) είναι άνω κάτω. Εδώ κάνει την εμφάνισή του οι Επιλογές Εκτύπωσης (Printing Options) στην Προβολή (View) Baclstage, όπου και μπορούμε να ρυθμίσουμε το Μέγεθος Σελίδας (Paper Size) ακόμα και τον Προσανατολισμό (Orientation) της Σελίδας (Page). How To Maximize Printing Options in An Excel Spreadsheet?

When we look on a Spreadsheet in Excel on a Monitor, everything looks just perfect. Sometimes though, when we want to Print it, if we are not careful we will be ending up wasting a lot of Paper and we will not have a clue what has been Printed. Data here, Columns there, Rows everywhere. Everything will just be Printed out of order. This is where the Backstage Printing Options comes along, where we can adjust the Paper Size and even the Orientation of the Page. To find out how to Maximize the Printing Options in an Excel Spreadsheet, just keep on reading the post below.

How To Maximize Printing Options in Excel

We must select the File tab to move to Backstage View. Once in Backstage View, from the drop-down menu from the left we select the Print command as shown in the image below. In the image below, at the right of the screen we have a Preview of how our Workbook will be printed. We cannot see though the Margins, neither for the Page, neither for the Header and Footer. We also notice in the bottom middle of the Print Preview task pane the Number of the Page and the Total Number of Pages.

For us to be able to see the Margins for our Page and for the Header and Footer, we must select the icon which is located at the bottom right corner of the Print Preview as shown below and it is named Show Margins.

Once the Show Margins command is selected, we can see in the next image the Margins appearing on our screen. We can now use the Margins to adjust the Columns or Rows to fit any Data that may have moved on another page.

If no matter what we try to Adjust the Margins and we cannot fit it on one Page, we can always use the Page Setup dialog box for further adjustments. In the middle of the Print Preview task pane, and at the end of the Settings commands is located the Page Setup command as shown in the image below. All we need to do is to select the Page Setup command, so the Page Setup dialog box to appear.

Once the Page Setup command is selected, the Page Setup dialog box appears, where we make sure the Page tab is activated as shown below. Here we can use the Scaling Menu to Adjust the Size of the Text to fit the Data into one Page. Keep in mind though, that if we Scale the percentage a lot the Data comparing to its Normal Size, the Data will not be so visible and legible.

How To Find Out The Upcoming Features in Microsoft Office Applications?

Are you one of the persons that can’t wait to see what new features will be available in Microsoft Word? Can’t wait to find out what the minds in Microsoft will be sharing with us in the upcoming updates in Microsoft Excel or PowerPoint? What will be soon available in Microsoft Outlook? Well, you don’t have to worry anymore. Microsoft has thought about us. This is where Upcoming Features appears, where we can have a preview of the Upcoming New Features that will become available in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. To find out more, just keep on reading the post below.

How To Find What You Want In Office

At the top right corner of the Microsoft Word Application next to the Owners Name, we hover over the small icon located there. Once we are over it, we see the notification dialog box mentioning the following:

  • Upcoming Features. Try It Now: Learn More About Features Coming Soon And Share Feedback.

All we need to do is to select the command.

Upcoming Features in Microsoft Office 365

Once selected the Coming Soon task pane appears at the right as shown in the image below. Here we are notified with the following:

  • Occasionally, We’ll Release A New Feature In Office That Changes The Look, Feel, Or Functionality Of Office. Coming Soon Gives You A Window Of Time To Try These Changes On Your Own Schedule, Learn About Them, And Share Feedback With Us Before The Changes Are Released To All Customers.

A new feature that is available now and will be briefly described in this post is the Microsoft Search feature. What does this new feature do?

  • We Can Search For Commands, People, Files, Photos, Web Articles And More With Microsoft Search.

All we need to do is to activate the command by switching the button On or Off. Once we switch it either On or Off, we must restart the application for the command to take place.

Coming Soon Feature in Office 365

In the image below, I have activated the Microsoft Search command, and straight away, we notice on the Title Menu of the Microsoft Word Application the Search Text Pane area. In this area we can Just Start Typing Here To Bring Features To Your Fingertips and Get Help.

Ορολογία Γραμματοσειράς: Η γραμματοσειρά (αγγλ. font) είναι σύνολο τυπογραφικών χαρακτήρων (γλυφών), σχεδιασμένων με γνώμονα τη μεταξύ τους αρμονία και ομοιομορφία για να αναπαραστήσουν ένα αλφάβητο. Συνήθως περιλαμβάνει τα γράμματα ενός ή περισσοτέρων αλφαβήτων, αλλά και μια σειρά αριθμών, σημείων στίξης και συμβόλων. Μπορεί, επίσης, να αποτελείται εξ ολοκλήρου από ιδεογράμματα και σύμβολα, π.χ. μαθηματικά σύμβολα ή σύμβολα χαρτογράφησης.

Dubai Font Family in Microsoft Office 365 Greek
