Πώς Να Ρυθμίσετε Παραμέτρους της Προστατευμένης Προβολής Στις Εφαρμογές του Microsoft Office;
How To Configure Protected View Settings in Microsoft Office Applications?
“Το αρχείο προήλθε από μια τοποθεσία διαδικτύου”, (“The file was opened from an Internet location”),“Το αρχείο αυτό παραλήφθηκε σαν συνημμένο του Outlook ” (“The file was received as an Outlook attachment”), “ Το αρχείο αυτό ανοίχθηκε από μία μη ασφαλής τοποθεσία” (“The file was opened from an unsafe location”). Αυτοί είναι μερικοί λόγοι που ένα Αρχείο (File) ανοίγει σε Προστατευμένη Προβολή (Protected View). Η Προστατευμένη Προβολή (Protected View) είναι μία λειτουργία Μόνο Ανάγνωσης (Read Only), όπου οι περισσότερες λειτουργίες επεξεργασίας είναι απενεργοποιημένες. Αρχεία από το Διαδίκτυο (Internet) και άλλες μη ασφαλείς τοποθεσίες μπορούνε να βλάψουν τον υπολογιστή μας. Εδώ κάνει την εμφάνιση του η Προστατευμένη Προβολή (Protected View) στις εφαρμογές του Microsoft Office. Βοηθάει στην προστασία του υπολογιστή μας, από αρχεία που μπορούν να δημιουργήσουν ζημιά στον υπολογιστή μας, και γι’ αυτό τα ανοίγει σε λειτουργία Μόνο Ανάγνωσης (Read Only) ή σε Προστατευμένη Προβολή (Protected View). Με τη χρήση της Προστατευμένης Προβολής (Protected View), μπορούμε να δούμε τα περιεχόμενα, και έπειτα να επιτρέψουμε την επεξεργασία. How To Configure Protected View Settings in Microsoft Office Applications?
“The file was opened from an Internet location”, “The file was received as an Outlook attachment”, “The file was opened from an unsafe location”. These are some reasons why a File opens in Protected View. Protected View is a Read-Only Mode, where most of the editing functions are disabled. Files from the Internet and other unsafe locations may harm our computer. This is where Protected View appears in Microsoft Office applications. It helps protect our computer, from Files that may harm us, so they are opened as Read-Only or in Protected View. By using Protected View, we can read the File, see its contents, and then enable editing. If you want to Configure the Protected View Settings for Microsoft Office applications just keep on reading.
In the following image I have Microsoft Word running and I have moved into Backstage View by selecting the File tab of the ribbon. Then, from Backstage View and from the drop-down menu from the left I select the category Options. Once selected the Word Options dialog box appears, where once more from the left I select the category Trust Center. Once selected, the Trust Center dialog box appears, where from the left we must select the Protected View category.
In the following image I have Microsoft Excel running and I have moved into Backstage View by selecting the File tab of the ribbon. Then, from Backstage View and from the drop-down menu from the left I select the category Options. Once selected the Excel Options dialog box appears, where once more from the left I select the category Trust Center. Once selected, the Trust Center dialog box appears, where from the left we must select the Protected View category.
In the following image I have Microsoft PowerPoint running and I have moved into Backstage View by selecting the File tab of the ribbon. Then, from Backstage View and from the drop-down menu from the left I select the category Options. Once selected the PowerPoint Options dialog box appears, where once more from the left I select the category Trust Center. Once selected, the Trust Center dialog box appears, where from the left we must select the Protected View category.
Once in Protected View, no matter which application is running the same adjustments stand for all. First, we are notified with the following information which mentions: Protected View Opens Potentially Dangerous Files, Without Any Security Prompts, In a Restricted Mode To Help Minimize Harm To Your Computer. By Disabling Protected View You Could Be Exposing Your Computer To Possible Security Threats.
It is up to us to leave activated or to deactivate the following options:

Enable Protected View For Files Originating From The Internet.

Enable Protected View For Files Located In Potentially Unsafe Locations.

Enable Protected View For Outlook Attachments.
Whatever adjustments we make, at the end we must press the Ok button in each opened dialog box for the adjustments to take place.
Just remember, that there are always threats out there, so by deactivating Protected View features, puts our PC to risk.

How To Configure Dark Mode For Microsoft Office Applications?
Εάν κάποιος χρησιμοποιεί τα Windows 10 σε Σκοτεινή Λειτουργία (Dark Mode), τώρα οι εφαρμογές του Microsoft Office μπορούν να χρησιμοποιήσουν την ίδια λειτουργία. Συγκεκριμένα, μέσα από τις εφαρμογές του Microsoft Office μπορούμε να καθορίσουμε ότι θέλουμε τη Χρήση Ρύθμισης Συστήματος (Use System Settings). Σε άλλο video μου, είχα περιγράψει Πώς Μπορούμε Να Ρυθμίσουμε το Microsoft Outlook σε Σκοτεινή Λειτουργία. Λειτουργία ή οποία ήταν διαθέσιμη μόνο για το Outlook και που μπορείτε να δείτε στον παρακάτω σύνδεσμο:

Τώρα, αυτή η Λειτουργία (Mode) είναι διαθέσιμη και για τις υπόλοιπες εφαρμογές.

How To Configure Dark Mode For Microsoft Office Applications?
If anyone is using Windows 10 in Dark Mode, now Microsoft Office applications can do the same. Now, from within Microsoft Office applications we can specify that we want them to use the same System Theme Settings. In an other video of mine I had described on How To Set Microsoft Outlook into Dark Mode, Mode which was available then only for Outlook and which you can find at the link below:

Now, this Mode is available for the rest of the applications.
If anyone is using Windows 10 in Dark Mode, now Microsoft Office applications can do the same. Now, from within Microsoft Office applications we can specify that we want them to use the same System Theme Settings. To find out how, just keep on reading the post below.

Keep in mind that the Use System Setting option under the Office Theme drop-down menu, is available to whoever is running Windows 10 and has Microsoft 365, Office 2019 and Click-to Run editions of Office 2016.
